I Have A Prayer Request
One way that we connect to God and care for each other is through prayer. We share what is on our hearts, our joys and concerns, with each other and with God. We believe that prayer is powerful, and we would love to pray for you and for you to join us in praying for each other.
Prayer Chain
Our prayer chain is typically sent out twice a week. Early in the week, we send the prayer requests for all services on Sunday, as well as any other requests from the weekend, and then on Friday we send any additional requests that have come in through the week. We will send additional prayer chain emails if we receive urgent requests.
Outdoor Prayer
We have multiple spaces for outdoor prayer.
Our labyrinth (pictured) is a space for active prayer. In a labyrinth, you walk the path as it winds around and leads you to the center. The labyrinth is located to the left as you are driving up our driveway and there is a path from the Chapel in the Woods that leads down the hill to it. Additional outdoor prayer spaces are the Chapel in the Woods and Memorial Garden, both located on the north end of our main parking lot.
Prayer Room
Inside the building, you are invited to join us in prayer at our brand new prayer room. Completed in 2024, the prayer room is a quiet space for reflection. There are comfortable couches, a table for small meetings, and even an outdoor area on the balcony overlooking the river. There are also finger labyrinths and prayer books available. If you would like someone to pray with you in the prayer room, please contact the church office.
