Summer Brown Bag Lunches

We will be delivering Summer Brown Bag Lunches starting June 4 and will continue each Wednesday  and Friday through August 1 except Friday, July 4. We plan to pack and deliver 1400 lunches a week  along with Blessing Bags with extra food items. Adults and children 10 years and older are welcome  to volunteer. Lunches are delivered on three specific routes in the Dublin School system to children  who receive free or reduced lunches when school is in session as well as some senior citizens on the routes. Lunches include a sandwich, juice box, fresh fruit, chips and a cookie. Donations of these  items can be dropped off at the church during office hours or on Sunday mornings. If you would like  to provide a Blessing bag, items in the bag includes cereal, can of spaghetti sauce, pasta, plastic  jar of applesauce, rice, plastic bottle of apple juice and two cans of fruit. Please use canvas grocery  bags from Giant Eagle to pack the items in for easier delivery. Bags can be dropped off at the  church office. Contact Denise Gorden with any questions.
