Sacred Planning
January 10, 2026 9:00 AM
- January 31, 2026 10:30 AM

This four-week series led by Pastor Mebane invites us to approach life planning as an act of faith, love, and spiritual wisdom. Together, we’ll explore the practical steps that help us “live well and leave well”—from organizing important documents to naming our values, shaping our legacy, and easing the burden on those we love. Each session will have a different focus:
Saturday, January 10: The Funeral File
Saturday, January 17: Preparing for a Move
Saturday, January 24: Planning Ahead: Directives, Decisions, and Details
Saturday, January 31: Leaving a Legacy
Sessions will include a number of guest speakers, including two attorneys as well as church members who have been through aspects of this process. Each session will be from 9-10:30 a.m. in room 212. Rather than something to fear, Sacred Planning becomes a holy practice that honors our lives, strengthens our families, and reflects our trust in God’s unfolding care. Contact the church office for more information or to sign up.
