Chancel Choir
Our chancel choir is an all-inclusive ensemble that is open to all members of Northwest UMC and anyone else looking for a spiritual connection with choral music. We rehearse regularly on Wednesdays at 7:30 pm, and occasionally have special rehearsals for upcoming major works, retreats, and other similar productions.
The chancel choir regularly sings at the 9:30 AM Sanctuary service, and sometimes sings at 11 am as well. In service we give major performances of sacred music, regularly singing a Christmas cantata program in Advent and performing special music for Lent and Easter in the spring, along with our “Music Sunday” presentation at the end of May.
We are always seeking and welcoming new faces!!!
