Sunday School
On Sunday’s from September to May during worship services, we offer a Sunday school class for all children (infants through sixth grade) so that you may enjoy some personal time with God during service while your child/children are being cared for and taught lessons from the Bible.
During the summer months, a One-Room Sunday School (Children’s Hour) is offered during our 9:45 am service in room 212. Children ages 3 years to 6th grade are able to enjoy Bible lessons, crafts and activities designed to be fun and interactive for all ages.
Nursery Care
Child care is provided at all worship services during the school year for newborn infants and children under the age of three. Nursery care is offered at the 9:45 am and 11:00 am services during the summer months. The primary objective is to guarantee your child/children are cared for and nurtured during worship services.
PreKindergarten
During the school year, our 3, 4 and 5 year olds not entering Kindergarten discover the love of God each week with wonderful Bible stories and themes during our 9:45 am service. The theme is supported with a variety of activities, games and stories. The prekindergarten classrooms are a perfect environment to help our children learn and develop their faith as they begin their Christian journey.
Sunday School
Children from Kindergarten through 6th grade are able to explore the Bible on Sunday mornings at 9:45 am through rotating classrooms during the school year. Each theme is presented for an entire month and children are able to move to different classrooms each week to discover a different aspect of that theme. Children are separated into learning groups based on age so that the teaching experience can be related to the selected theme based on their experiences and knowledge of the Bible. We provide four different classrooms, or rotations, for this age group that supports the monthly theme. Children will rotate through the following:
Creative Hands and Spirit - explores a Bible story through cooking or crafts
More than a Movie - incorporates a movie into the learning experience
Story telling - allows the children to hear, see or act out a Bible story as it was written
Faith Today - allows a modern look at the story and how it relates to their lives
Kids Zone
From September to May, this “one-room Sunday School” provides creative, combined-class Bible lessons that are fun and interactive for kids from ages three years to 6th grade. The combined ages allows older children to be able to help and interact with the younger kids, which is a positive experience for all who attend. It is a great option for our kids during the 11:00 am worship services.
